Video tutorial on how to display real time positions from VehicleTracker on your own web site using GpsGate Web Services.

We’ve received many questions on if it’s possible to use GpsGate Server VehicleTracker to display GPS positions in real time on a public web page. And the answer is YES, and it is very easy with GpsGate Web Services.

If you’re not familiar with GpsGate Web Services then here’s a quick introduction. Using GpsGate Web Services and GpsGate Server VehicleTracker you can show your position on a Google map on your own web site using simple Javascripting. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with Javascript, we have examples for you to use (cut and paste).

Note! This video tutorial shows how it’s done if you’re running your own server installation. If your server is hosted by us then please contact support and we’ll help you with the database configuration.

Here are a few examples.

If you like more information about the technology used then please visit this page.
