The EC1002 report counts the events and creates a driver score based on the number of events per 1000 km multiplied with the Points parameter. The parameters define the number of points each event generates, they are set in the report definition that includes the following settings.
|HarshAccPoints||Number of points for a harsh acceleration event|
|HarshBreakPoints||Number of points for a harsh braking event|
|HarshTurnPoints||Number of points for a harsh turn event|
|SeatBeltPoints||Number of points for a seatbelt event (this is to check drivers without seatbelt)|
|OverSpeedPoints||Number of points for a speeding event|
|MinDistance||The minimum distance a vehicle must drive to be given a score|
|Excellent||The maximum number of points to reach this driver class|
|Good||The maximum number of points to reach this driver class|
|Fair||The maximum number of points to reach this driver class|
* Drivers with more points than “Fair” are labeled “Risky”
This report requires a device capable of detecting Harsh signals (eg. harsh acceleration, harsh breaking, harsh cornering). Typically, this feature is included in devices that have an accelerometer included in the hardware.
