GpsGate Server is very easy to translate to any language and is now available in 13 languages from the start.
GpsGate is now available in 13 languages. Arabic, Dutch, English, Finnish, German, Croatian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Thai. One GpsGate Server installation can support any number of languages at the same time, each user on the server can set an individual language.
For new installations all languages are included by default. For existing installations, please read this for instructions on how to install a new language.
How to set language
You can set the default language for the server under Settings in SiteAdmin. Each user can set an individual language under Settings in VehicleTracker.
All translations except English and Swedish are contributed by the GpsGate user community. Where localized phrases are missing they are replaced by English.
How to translate to your own language
It is easy to create a new language or edit an existing language. You find more information here.
Note: If you make a modification to an existing language file it is recommended that you save it as a copy with a different name, since the default files are overwritten when you upgrade the server.
How to contribute
You are most welcome to contribute with new translations. Each new language translation is rewarded with 5 licenses, and an updated version with 3 licenses. Please contact support @ gpsgate . com for more information.
