Build 10371
2026-02-17

February 2026

This release brings updates for all users across the GpsGate platform — each designed to give better visibility and smoother workflows.

For technical teams, we’ve added a Diagnostics button in the Asset Status panel to help troubleshoot assets that aren't reporting a location — making it easier to identify and resolve tracker issues quickly.

On the user experience side, the Event Panel now allows you to select multiple days at once, helping you build a broader history view and better understand where events occur most frequently.

In the Fleet app, we've updated maps, improved fleet notifications, and asset list filtering is now more flexible with support for custom icons.

New

Developer & System Admin
In January 2026's release, we replaced 'Views' with 'Groups.' Going forward, this means that instead of creating a View, and assigning a group to it, users can select and access the groups within the application. Before updating your platform, please note these changes:

  • Existing Views will not be migrated. Groups will become the primary way to filter and display assets on the map
  • If you currently have Views linked to multiple Groups, the update will mean that all Groups a user has access to will be selected by default. Users can manually select or deselect groups they do not want to display
  • You will continue to use the _ReadData privilege to control which devices and Groups a user can access with no need to manage Views going forward
  • We've simplified the privilege options under EditUsers and ReadData. They can now only be managed within Application Roles
  • The Asset Status panel now shows a Diagnostics button when an asset has the 'Never Seen' status. The button is only visible to users with _EditUsers privilege

Mobile Fleet app:

  • The asset list now supports icons with better sorting options

User Experience:

  • Updates to the Simulator
-speed is now always displayed first in the Simulator panel list of variables
-narrower dropdown selector in the simulator panel
-enable route drawing automatically for new simulators
-selecting a simulated asset for the first time no longer automatically switches to the Simulator tab

Our device team integrated:

  • New trackers GL51LG and GL30MEU from Queclink's as well as the ZX901 from Topin
  • Signal updates for 38 Teletonika Telematics trackers
  • New signals and improvements to Atrack, ORBCOMM, Teltonika Networks, Tzone, WirelessLinks, and Xeelectech
Improved

User Experience

  • In the Event Panel window, users can now choose multiple days of history to show on the map
  • Clicking on an Asset's red event notifier opens up the event in the Event Panel
  • Improvements to our "Zoom to asset" button now zoom in further on the map
  • The Asset list in the Default workspace now displays a 'Last connected' column instead of 'Last seen' to provide clearer visibility into device connectivity status
  • Updated English and Spanish translations for 'Last seen' to 'Position updated'

Mobile Fleet app:

  • Improvement to Fleet app activity notifications
  • Updates to maps, map markers, and clustering abilities
  • Better sorting and search bar for easier navigation of the application list
