What is Guide?
The Guide window is a space in GpsGate to help you get familiar with our platform. If you’re new to GpsGate, Guide is the first thing you’ll see when you log in. Within Guide, there are resources and tools to help you get set up.
Fast-track your setup with Shortcuts
When you open Guide, you’ll notice a section called Shortcuts. Whether connecting devices, testing with our simulator, or creating your first speeding event rule, shortcuts will set you up for success.
Explore popular GpsGate tools in the article section
Beneath shortcuts, click on an article topic that piques your interest. The articles vary from explaining simple processes, like generating a Trip and Idle report, to shedding light on more complex concepts, like customizing your GpsGate platform with APIs and Scripting.
Guide is there whenever you need it
Guide greets you when you enter GpsGate for the first time but it’s easy to access again. Guide lives in the top right of the UI, click the lightbulb icon to open it 💡 Guide's always there to help you add a new device or set up a new speeding event rule.
