This month’s GpsGate release focuses on refinement and usability. In the web platform, you’ll notice smoother visuals in the simulator, better icon handling, and a cleaner asset setup experience.
The Fleet app gets a usability boost with a simplified, localized login, branding options, a new traffic layer, and trip drawing updates.

User Experience
- Daily Summary table columns is now ordered with Start, End by default
- A new empty state in the Simulator panel explains what it does
Developer & System Admin
Last month, we shared that we've begun renaming 'Tag' to 'Group'. This release, you'll see name changes in the following places:
- In report names
- The Rendezvous plugin
Mobile Fleet app:
For mobile users, we've updated the Fleet app login flow - no username, no password - for quick and easy logins for fleet customers. We've also localized this new login flow with 10 supported languages.
- New feature for Google Maps users allows you to toggle on and off the traffic layer
From our device integration team:
- New devices added include Queclink's new CV5000 tracker and Concox's VL103M tracker
- 31 Teltonika trackers updated with available documentation
- Bofan, Concox, and Meitrack plugins now available as a part of Device Drivers plugin for faster and easier updating
User Experience
- Improvements to the login page for faster loading time
- Streamlined signals for a cleaner GpsGate Simulator experience. For new applications we won't map HarshBraking, HarshTurning, HarshAcceleration and Temperature2 signals by default
Developer & System Admin
- It's now possible to send emails from a name instead of an email address. Customize email sender names in Site admin → Account Settings → Email Providers
- Reduce memory usage by event rules
Mobile Fleet app
- Branding is back in the Fleet app with customizable logos and colors
- Improvements to the 'Draw Trip' screen for a smoother experience
Bugs happen. As soon as we know about them, we fix them to keep things running smoothly for you.
Developer & System Admin
- Fix an issue so that icons from the Asset Marker, Event Rule Icon Notifier, and Icon Sets icon pickers are correctly displayed
- Fix an issue to avoid unnecessary port warning message when adding new assets from the desktop
User experience
- Fix to empty state in the vehicle list
