September 2026
This September, you can see more with every track! We've color-coded Tracks based on the data and signals that matter to you—like speed, fuel level, temperature—for a visual overview of what's happening throughout a vehicle journey.
We've also added some UI improvements to make everyday fleet monitoring smoother. Quickly jump to an asset's most recent activity in Daily Summary, see numbered stops directly on the map, and get more context when working with geofences.
Read on for all the highlights from the September release!
*Important notice for On-prem users running MySQL 5.5
If your On-prem GpsGate installation uses MySQL 5.5, please upgrade your database before installing the September release.
Some updates included in this release use SQL queries that cannot be executed on MySQL 5.5. This can cause the GpsGate update to fail and, in some cases, prevent users from logging in.
We recommend upgrading to a supported MySQL version before proceeding. If maintaining or upgrading your database is becoming a challenge, GpsGate Cloud is another option, with platform and infrastructure updates managed for you.
- Tracks has a colorful update! We've color-coded data and signals to better visualize vehicle data on the map. Toggle between signals like fuel, temperature, and speed to get a visualization in the map.
