6 things you got from GpsGate 2025
2025 was a year of steady, meaningful improvements across GpsGate’s fleet management platform. We invested in helping teams get more value from their favorite GPS tracking platform — whether they work on mobile, web, or in the field.
From major upgrades to our fleet tracking app and easier GPS tracker setup, to faster logins and more learning resources, here are six things you got from GpsGate in 2025.

1. A more powerful mobile fleet app
The GpsGate Fleet app continued to evolve in 2025, becoming a more robust extension of our fleet management platform — not just a companion view.
What’s new in the fleet tracking app:
- Use your smartphone as a GPS tracker
The in-app tracker lets your phone act as a tracking device, ideal for demos, temporary assets, or getting started with GPS vehicle tracking without hardware. - Running Click scripts directly from the Fleet app allows technical users to now trigger automation and workflows on the go.
- Pulling and sharing reports directly from the mobile app

2. Expand GPS tracking ability with more devices and signals
Hardware support is a cornerstone of reliable GPS vehicle tracking. GpsGate supports thousands of GPS tracking devices from the leading manufacturers. And 2025, we added:
- 37 new GPS tracker integrations
- 2,000+ new tracker variables
Our dedicated device integration team also migrated several manufacturers to the Device Drivers plugin, enabling faster updates and quicker support for new hardware features.
The result is broader compatibility, richer data, and a more future-proof GPS tracking solution.
3. Password-free access across web and Fleet app
Passwords slow people down — especially new users. With magic links, signing in to the GpsGate fleet management platform is now easier than ever:
- No passwords required
- Faster onboarding for users you invite to GpsGate
- Works across both web and the fleet tracking app
This reduces friction from the very first moment of fleet tracking with GpsGate.
4. GpsGate Academy grows with a new Signal Processing course
Consistent learning is part of building great fleet tracking solutions — and GpsGate Academy remains free for all users. In 2025, we added a third self-guided course focused on Signal Processing, helping users:
- Understand raw tracker data
- Interpret GPS and device signals
- Build more actionable fleet tracking data
Whether you’re new to GPS vehicle tracking or optimizing an existing solution, Academy helps you get more from the platform. 👉 Register for GpsGate Academy

5. Faster GPS vehicle tracking setup with SMS connection
Setting up new GPS vehicle tracking should be quick and reliable — especially in the field.
In 2025, we introduced SMS-based connection for Teltonika trackers, available from both the web interface and the Fleet app.
Why this matters for fleet tracking:
- Faster installations
- Fewer manual steps
- Easier deployments for installers and integrators
It’s part of our ongoing work to make GPS tracking setup simpler and more scalable.
6. Spanish support across the entire GPS tracking platform
If your business is 'gestion de flotas', we've got you covered! We've fully expanded the Spanish user journey across the GpsGate platform. From our website to onboarding and daily use of the fleet management platform, it's more accessible.
Experience GpsGate in Spanish across these places:

Every improvement in 2025 shared the same goal:
To make GpsGate’s fleet management platform easier to use, easier to scale, and more powerful for real-world GPS vehicle tracking. From a stronger mobile fleet tracking app to broader device support and better onboarding, we’re excited to keep building a GPS tracking solution that grows with your business.
