New

Now it’s easier to find what you need. Main Menu changes combined with our new in-application search make finding elements in GpsGate more intuitive. These updates apply to both Cloud and On-site platforms.

New in-application search

  • Add a new search field to the center of the navigation bar
  • Launch search with cmd + k (Mac) or ctrl + k (Windows) keyboard shortcuts
  • View selector is moving to the right of the navigation bar
  • Application selector is moving to the left of the navigation bar

Reorganized Main Menu

  • Sub-menu items now appear when hovering over Accounts Settings, Diagnostics, Logs, and Maps and Geocoders in Site Admin
  • Reporting under Site Admin is renamed to Scheduled Reports
  • User settings moved under Main Menu → Username
  • Billing settings moved to Site Admin → Billing

Our agile device team is always ready to meet customer needs. Here are some device highlights from May:

Improved

User Experience

  • Updates to the Terminal window. Add a vehicle list to offer more insight into device commands and improve usability
  • All binary values are represented as “True” and “False” when no translation exists

Developer & System Admin

  • Include user ID when logging errors around failed login in REST API
Fixed

Bugs happen. As soon as we know about them, we fix them to ensure GpsGate continues to run smoothly.

User Experience

  • Fix a bug that prevented route geofence editing

Device plugins deprecated with April 2024's release: AccuTracking, GlobalSat, Sendum, Amigo, SkyPatrol, Amwell, GlobalTrack, SmartSole, ANBTEK, Haicom, SmartTrakTech, AntzerTech, HHDTech, SolarONE, APRS, Holux, StarNet, Arvento, Icarvision, and Stellar.

/m Mobile web interface was deprecated with March 2024's release and is no longer supported. Download the Fleet app on the App Store or Google Play for the best access to our platform.

ArcGIS Geoevent Processor, Chat, and Garmin plugins were deprecated with November’s 2023 release.

Datcom, SUTRAN, and DLT Client plugins were deprecated with October 2023's release.
