New
User Experience
We've updated our welcome window to get new users started on the right foot. When entering the application, the Getting Started window gives you the option to set up a GPS tracking device or test with a GpsGate simulator in a user-friendly design. Using new tools and features within GpsGate should be intuitive. This month, we've also cleaned up the context menu in the application. As you right-click, you'll navigate with a clean layout that includes color updates, and legible typography.
- Visual updates to the context menu that appears when right-clicking on the vehicles on the map or in the Vehicle List.
- Updates to the Map Toolbar for an updated look and feel.
Fleet app
This month, our team has improved the way data is displayed in our mobile Fleet application. You'll find a toggle setting to customize the way you view variables in your vehicle details.
- Add a toggle to set the visibility of all custom variables.
- Add 'Last received' as a sorting option.

- Vehicle variables now have both 'Changed' and 'Received' fields.
Developer & System Administration
Looking for some more easy-editing tricks? We've moved Site Admin User editing into the application. You can now use batch editing to give multiple users access to applications without navigating back to Site Admin. More improvements to streamline your admin tasks:
- Application names in the main menu application selector are now automatically updated after changing the application name.
- Remove the application from the application selector after deleting an application.
Device Plugins
Each month, our dedicated device integration team configures new variables and signals to the GPS tracking devices and accessories you depend on. New this month in GpsGate:
- Teltonika Telematics: we've added support for advanced beacon signals, and multiple device inputs to FMB003, FMB120, FMB130, FMB920, FMC003, FMC130, FMM00A, FMM1100, FMM230, and TFT100 tracking devices.
- Meitrack: we've added new variables to support the MD500S and T399L devices.
- Queclink: a variety of new inputs added to the GL320MG, GV200, GV350, and GV300CAN tracking devices.

GpsGate's device integration team works closely with lead manufacturers to bring the latest GPS capabilities to your platform. Improvements, new signals, and fixes ensure that your devices always give you accurate fleet data. New this month:
- New vehicle tracking devices from Teltonika. The FMC800 is a small OBDII Plug and Play device with 4G LTE Cat 1 and Bluetooth connectivity. Teltonika's FMM800 is a tracking terminal with GNSS and LTE/GSM connectivity.
- Hogia and Squarell devices are now compatible with GpsGate's platform.
- Further device improvements from our partner GPS device manufacturers include Queclink and Meitrack.

With our ISO certification, we're constantly evaluating the platform and adding more protection. With this month's security updates, we've strengthened password and user session settings.

Our team of developers is always working to make GpsGate more intuitive to use. This month, we've changed the way that you can interact with panels and columns:
- Double-click a panel header or panel tab to minimize and maximize it. Similar to Window behavior.
- Double-click a column separator to minimize and maximize the column.

Do you use ArcGIS map layers to better visualize local conditions? With this month's update, we've integrated Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) within our ArcGIS map layer. Retrieve geofenced map tiles and the microdata you need for better vehicle scheduling and routing. To use this function, update the ArcGIS Map API to 3.42 and 4.25 respectively.

System integrators appreciate customizing the way they view data within GpsGate. You can now save your application's Workspace to display accumulator start values in the Daily Summary panel. Additionally, an update to GpsGate's Fleet smartphone app gives you the ability to view Vehicle Status. You can now hide, show, and reorder fields for better visibility. You'll see further changes below:
- Add support to batch edit Status Indicator and Position Marker in the application. Learn more about this feature here.
- Add instructional text updates in Email, Error, and Profiling Logs when the table is blank.
- Add an info message that appears in Application and Template List when the table doesn't have any information to display.
- Display Odometer Distance Factor value with selected number format (culture) settings in User Form.
